Utah BLM: Volunteer Help Requested for Fencing Repairs

The Patterson Pass Fire that broke in the Pilot Mountains near the Nevada border in Box Elder County caused significant damage to approximately 1/2 mile of a fenced riparian exclosure that provides habitat for wildlife. The area holds wild turkey, elk, mule deer, and bighorn sheep. Consequently, this poses an issue for the wildlife using the area. Emily Jencso, Wildlife Biologist at the BLM Salt Lake Field Office, has reached out to request help from volunteers who are experienced with fencing and enclosures. They are hoping to start the repairs as soon as possible.
