KRTV.com has recently reported that the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (MFWP) is currently investigating the poaching of 8 mule deer in McCone County, as well as another separate poaching case near Conrad, MT.

They state, "at least eight deer were found, including one fawn still barely alive, that were shot with a shotgun."

The 8 deer had been discovered over a two mile span, "near road 528 in northern McCone County, on the north end of the Remuda Twitchell BMA, about 10 miles east of Highway 24 and south of Oswego."

It was determined that the 8 deer had been senselessly killed on Saturday October, 14th. The case near Conrad was determined to have taken place bewteen October 8th-9th.

MFWP are asking for any availabe information regarding these cases and to contact warden Tryan directly at 406-263-0067, or reach out to FWP at 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668). In return for any anonymous cooperation that aids in the conviciton of the criminals responsible, they are offering a $1,000 reward.
