Scout To Hunt has released the first of many new essential features in preparation for the upcoming 2018 hunting seasons. This new update is now available on the Scout To Hunt mobile app and the desktop web app at

With the initial release of the GIS mapping layers and shadowed contours (desktop currently), Scout To Hunt has added Private Property Boundaries, Burn Zones and Water Data. All of which are essential components of planning and researching game and unit activity together with Scout To Hunt's proprietary and powerful visual hunting data.

Private Property

All current private property boundaries are made identifiable by the Red layer and are marked as "Private"

Burn Zones

All recorded burned regions are highlighted by the Orange layer and are marked with the corresponding name and year of the fire.

Water Data

Water is obviously a huge factor of successful planning. Accordingly, all significant natural water sources are made viewable by the Blue marks with their corresponding names, if a name is given.

As always, more features are on their way. Let us know your thoughts as we continue to roll out updates, so we can continue to build them around you.
